I Will Show You God Everywhere

If you put your faith in God, your pain will disappear immediately!
You will feel the presence of Jalaram Bapa in Virpur
where whatever you offer the eternal light, God will provide.
If you go to Ayodhya, if you go Chitrakoot, you will find Rama
If you go to Virpur, if you go to Sattardar, you will Jalaram.
Come with me, come with, I will show you Rama everywhere.
If you are in pain, God will immediately soothe!
If you pray to God (Dharshan), you will be free (Moksha).
Look at the eternal light.
If you go to Badrinath, if you go to Kedarnath, you will find Rama.
Come with me, come with, I will show you Rama.
If you go to Virpur, if you go to Sattardar, I will show you Rama.
In Junagadh, Nursi Metha met Krishna
and God took care of all his worries.
He was lost singing bhajans in the market
and forgot everything, while God provided.
If you go to Tirupati, if you go to Rameshvar, you will find Rama.
If you go to Virpur, if you go to Sattardar, I will show you Rama.
When Devdas, the composer, is singing this song, everyone's heart is filled with joy
I'll show you where Basir, who was immortal in his heart, and has taken Samadhi.
If you go to Nathdwara, if you go to Jagarnath, you will find Rama.
If you go to Virpur, if you go to Sattardar, I will show you Rama.
Go to each other's home and sing bhajans
In your devotion, you will forget our problems and become free
We will show that Krishna, Ram, and Shiva are all one.
Live with happiness, sing with happiness
Come with me, come with me, I will show you Rama.
If you go to Dwarka, if you go to Mathura, I will show you Rama.
If you go to Virpur, if you go to Sattardar, I will show you Rama.
Come with me, come with me, I will show you Rama.
Come with me, come with me, I will show you Rama.

Yet We Suffer From Attachment

Our lives are very short
But why do we suffer from illusions? (Maya)
When we die, nobody comes with us
Yet we suffer from these attachments.
Even those closest to our hearts (Snehi) stays on Earth.
As much as you try to take the world with you, as much as you want to stay forever young
You can't keep anything.
All your close attachments (mamata)
You cannot take anything with you.
When we die, nobody comes with us
Yet we suffer from these attachments.
Our attachments (mamata) are strung together delicately by love
When we die, this delicate string of love breaks
When we die, nobody comes with us
Yet we suffer from these attachments.
When a precious stone breaks, it loses its value and scatters everywhere.
Like that, our lives ultimately fall apart.
When we die, nobody comes with us
Yet we suffer from these attachments.
In our lives we accumulate so many things (mahela)
But what is the point?
If something suddenly happens to us
What will happen to our families?
We are so worried about our loved ones, but we each much follow our own destinies!
So why do we worry so much about each other?
When we die, nobody comes with us
Yet we suffer from these attachments.
Our lives are very short
But why do we suffer from illusions? (Maya)
When we die, nobody comes with us
Yet we suffer from these attachments.

Like Birds Flying from a Nest

From this world, somebody will go today, or somebody will go tomorrow
Like birds flying from a nest.
Everybody meets on Earth according to our past karma.
From which birth we met is unknown
Again we have met again to fulfill our past karma,
But we bind ourselves again before we go
We come and go on and on.
From this world, somebody will go today, or somebody will go tomorrow
Like birds flying from a nest.
But by praying to God, we will end these endless cycles.
This world is illusory and transient (maya).
Life is as passing as bubbles of soap.
From this world, somebody will go today, or somebody will go tomorrow
Like birds flying from a nest.
Nobody will come with us
Everybody has his own path according to his past actions; everybody goes on his own road.
Our relationships are as transient as clouds passing overhead
From this world, somebody will go today, or somebody will go tomorrow
Like birds flying from a nest.
"We are given this precious (amulya) life as human beings
So come and sing bhajans to God"
These are the golden words of Shakar (the composer)
From this world, somebody will go today, or somebody will go tomorrow
Like birds flying from a nest.

I am Always Thinking of You

I am always thinking of you, Krishna
You have helped those who believe in you
In my heart I am always repeating your name
Without your presence, I feel lost
Every day, I am only thinking of you and want to see you.
You are the son of Nanda and Yashoda
I am bowing to your feet, my dear
I am eagerly waiting for you to come
I am always thinking of you, Krishna

Help Me Be With You

Dear Shankar bhagavan, I am bowing to you to take away all my sorrows
I am asking you for your help, and because I want to see you.
You are overlooking everyone's lives and are solving everyone's problems,
And you are in my heart, too.
I have a limited perspective and cannot understand your infinite intention
I am asking you for your help, and because I want to see you.
Your body is covered in ashes
Your friends are ghosts and phantoms
On your forehead there is a mark of wisdom
And in your throat is poison
While you have given away all your posessions.
I am asking you for your help, and because I want to see you.
The vedas say that all forms of live (jiva) go to you
And so, too, does my heart.
You are everywhere, and therefore, so am I!
Give me strength (shakti).
Have pity on me and help me be with you.
We all come and go alone, I know, I know,
But still, why am I so depressed?
I am trying to figure out why I am so sad
But I am finding no answers
So please give me that understanding (samjhan).
Give me the true perspective to see you in the entire universe (shrusti)
My desires and heart point to you
I will know peace if you come to me
Have pity on me and help me be with you.
Every day I do your prayers (seva)
I am not hungry for material wealth, only for your presence, oh generous God.
Please remove from me my ego
Have pity on me and help me be with you.

Everyone, say: "God, I surrender to you."
When you feel depressed or scared, say:
"Krishna, I surrender to you."
Everyone, say: "God, I surrender to you."

Interlude

Yamuna Vora: How old are you turning today?
Tanman Shah: 31!
YV: Finished or beginning?
TS: Finished
YV: Oh...How many years have gone by! Now, just keep doing your best, and all your work will be completed by the grace of Sai Baba. Now you both pursue inner peace and since we have asked for blessings early this morning, Sai Baba will do wondrous things for you.

Hanuman Chalisa

With the dust of Guru’s Lotus feet, I first clean the mirror of my heart and then narrate the sacred glory of Ram, the Supreme among the Raghu dynasty, the giver of four fold attainments of life.
Knowing myself to be ignorant, I urge you, O Hanuman, The son of Pavan: Bestow on me strength, wisdom and knowledge, taking away all my miseries and blemishes.
Jai Hanuman, Ocean of wisdom and virtue, victory to the monkey-king who is well known in all the three worlds.
You, the messenger of Ram and repository of immeasurable strength, are also known as Anjaniputra and Pavaniputra.
Mighty, Powerful and strong as lightning, Mahaveer, you being the companion of wisdom, dispel dark and evil thoughts.
Golden Hanuman, you look beautiful with earrings and curly hair.
You hold the mace of lightening and a flag in your hands with sacred thread of tulsi adorning your shoulder.
Reincarnation of Shankar Bhagavan and the son of Kesari your luster and glory is praised by the whole world.
The master of all knowledge, full of virtue and wisdom, you are always eager to serve Ram.
Immersed in listening to the music of God, in your cherished heart do Ram, Laxman, and Sita dwell.
While you presented your humble form to Mother Sita, You assumed demonic size and burnt the city of Lanka.
In your colossal manifestation, you killed the demons, fulfilling Ram’s mission.
You revived Laxman with the Sanjivani you brought and Ram embraced you in deep joy.
Ram said you were as dear as his brother Bharat and praised you highly.
Ram embraced you saying Sheshnaga sings your glory.
Not only Sheshnaga but also Sanaka, Brahma and other Gods, Narad, Sharda, and other sages eternally sing your praise.
What to speak of poet and seers! Even Yama, Kuber, Digpal have no words to praise your glory.
You helped Sugriv win back his crown with the blessings of Ram.
Vibhishan, accepting your counsel, became the King of Lanka, is known throughout the world.
You swallowed the sun, 93 million miles away, taking it to be a sweet fruit.
Keeping the Lord’s ring in your mouth, you conquered the mighty ocean.
With your graces, all the impediments and difficulties in the world can be overcome easily.
No one can enter Ram’s abode without your consent, O sentinel of God.
By your grace one can enjoy all happiness and one need not have any fear under your protection.
When you roar all the three worlds tremble and only you can control your might.
Evil spirits cannot come near your devotees, Jai Mahaveer, who chants your name.
Chanting your name constantly, Jai Hanuman, one can be cured of all disease and pains.
Hanuman keeps one, who has him in his heart, deed, word, and meditation, free from all trouble.
The ascetic Ram is the ruler of all and you even accomplished all his missions.
Whoever comes to you for fulfillment of any desire, achieves great fruition in his life.
Your glory is acclaimed in four Yogas and your radiance is spread all over the cosmos.
Sri Ram has great affection for you, Mahaveer, the decapitator of evil spirits and protector of saints.
You are blessed by Sita to grant anyone with any of eight siddhis and nidhis.
You, with the ambrosia that is Ram, are always in the service of Raghupati.
One can reach Ram chanting your name and become free from sufferings of many lives.
After death he enters the eternal abode of Sri Ram and remains a devotee of him, whenever, taking a new birth on earth.
Other Gods may not care to take heed, but one who serves you, Hanuman, enjoys all pleasures.
Sri Hanuman, the mighty God, remove all the problems and pains of those, who hail, “Hanuman, be as compassionate to me as my Supreme Teacher.”
He who chants this prayer a hundred times is liberated from earthly bondage and enjoys the highest bliss.
He who reads these forty verses, as Lord Shanker witnesses, overcome all troubles.
Tulsidas is an eternal devotee of Lord Hari. Sri Hanuman, kindly reside in my heart forever.
O Sri Hanuman, the Son of Pavana, Saviour, the Embodiment of blessings, reside in my heart together with Sri Ram, Laxman, and Sita.

Sundarkand

This is a section of a longer bhajan, translated entirely here.

I Have Something To Tell You

Dear Krishna and dear Sai Baba
I have something to tell you.
My life is like a boat lost at sea,
And I am asking you to ferry me accross the ocean.
See that I am struggling
And please give me your blessings (Dharshan).
I want to live under your protection.
Dear Krishna and dear Sai Baba
I have something to tell you.
I want to rid myself of my pains (dhuk) and bury my sorrows.
If you do this for me, I want to give you something in return.
Dear Krishna and dear Sai Baba
I have something to tell you.
I find no joy in the things of this world; only joy in you.
Now I want to keep quiet, I want to express these things from my heart.
Dear Krishna and dear Sai Baba
I have something to tell you.
I have been in such pain since so many births,
And you are the only one who can set me free.
My life is a haplesss mess.
Dear Krishna and dear Sai Baba
I have something to tell you.
I am poor, a beggar in your presence.
I have come to you with the hope that you will do something for me.
My heart is like a lotus
Please stay there and let me tell you something.
Dear Krishna and dear Sai Baba
I have something to tell you.
When I pray, please bless me.
And when I die, please be with me.
Before I die, I want to meet you.
That is all I really wanted to tell you.

Rama's Pilgrimage

Due to Dhasharat's promise,
Rama is going to the forest for 14 years.
Rama has taken this burden with grace.
Sitaji and Laxman have also come along.
Dhasharat obeyed his dharma (duty),
So Rama has taken this burden with grace
And Sitaji and Laxman have also come along.
Wearing clothes of humility
And living like a common man
With braided hair, like a sadhu
They ventured into the forest.
With bare feet, they partook in this yatra (pilgrimage)
And Sitaji and Laxman have also come along.
They walked to Valmiki Rishi's ashram
Valmiki Rishi proudly blessed them
They bowed down to Valmiki Rishi
And Sitaji and Laxman have also come along.
Valmiki Rishi welcomed them warmly
And gracefully gave them delicious fruits
Valmiki Rishi bowed to Rama in respect.
And Sitaji and Laxman have also come along.
All the forest-dwellers came running to see Rama
Rama cured the pains and sorrows of everyone who came.
And Sitaji and Laxman have also come along.
Due to Dhasharat's promise,
Rama is going to the forest for 14 years.
Rama has taken this burden with grace.
Sitaji and Laxman have also come along.

God Will See Me Through

Let me praise Ambama!
In this prayer, let me cross this ocean of life.
It is a difficult journey, And the good and bad, the happiness and unhappiness are bound to come.
My Ambama will see me through. Let me praise Ambama!
My sins are like the loud tides of this ocean of life
I want to transcend these tides
My Ambama will see me through.
Let me praise Ambama!
I left all my friends behind
Let me instead walk the path of devotion.
My Ambama will see me through.
Let me praise Ambama!
I am thinking of Ambama, always taking her name.
Let me fully surrender to Ambama.
